Expert Scientific Writer (local ), Oncology Scientific Writing

Job Description

Major Activites:-

1. Prepares abstracts, posters, slide sets, manuscripts (complex), monographs, flash cards, pub alerts literature reviews and other scientific resources working from various data sources including data tables and graphics, FIR reports, clinical study reports, patient profiles, protocols etc.
2. Performs quality control (QC) checking / proof reading of the above mentioned documents to meet customer expectations.
3. Manages multiple projects across multiple brands at any given time.
4. Supports people and performance management.
5. Supports process improvement initiatives.
6. Complies with and support oncology scientific writing (OSW) group’s project management tool, standards, policies and initiatives.
7. Follows Novartis specifications for documentation, specifically Novstyle, templates etc.
8. Follows and tracks clinical trial milestones for assigned projects.
9. Maintains records for all assigned projects including Datavision and other databases.
10. Maintains audit, SOP and training compliance.
11. Contribute to development of processes within OSW group
12. Support development of OSW group through participating in OSW group initiatives and other related activities.
13. Builds working relationships and actively collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders to optimize feed-back and input towards high quality documents.
14. Trains new joiners, fellow colleagues as and when required.
15. Performs additional tasks as assigned. 

Education (Minimum / Desirable):- Minimum: University life Science degree or equivalent is required.

Advance degree or equivalent education / degree in life sciences/ healthcare is desirable: masters with 6-8 years of experince.

Phd or degree in medicine (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with 4-6 yrs of expericne.
